The Power of Positive Crochet Summit is a 4-day event that will help crocheters maximize the therapeutic benefits of crochet and build powerful self-care and healing practices with their crochet hobbies.

How it will work
The Power of Positive Crochet Summit will run from April 16-19, 2026. Presentations will include 20-30 minutes of content that may include up to a 5 -minute freebie pitch.
While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, all speakers are asked to attend their presentation time live to interact with attendees in the chatbox. There is no video component to the chat.
Along with the presentations, there will be a dedicated community in a free space in my membership community The Betty McKnitiverse (hosted on Mighty Networks) for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. You’ll be welcome to go live in the community space following your presentation to connect with the attendees, answer their questions, and provide even more value.
Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all as easy as possible. I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.
During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the VIP Power Pack. This paid offer includes an ongoing-access pass for the replays of the summit presentations, special live self-care experiences, a crochet pattern bundle, an exclusive crochet along, and additional downloadable resources. The VIP Power Pack provides immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list.
What I'll ask of you
Here's some information about your role and what will be expected.
1. Basic Information
The first thing I’ll need is some basic information about you along with a head shot or photo so I can finish up our Registration page and Speakers page.
Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.
2. Presentation
Next up is your presentation! This is a 20-30 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, experience self care, and have fun.
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.
With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:
Presentation style with or without slides
A follow-along self-care or educational experience
A combination of presentation and experiential activity
Interview-style
If you’d like to go with the interview-style presentation, email [email protected] to schedule a time to do that right away. We’ll work together to come up with questions.
No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.
Your presentation should include great, actionable content.
A quick introduction
An overview of your topic
Misconceptions about your topic, what people get wrong or struggle with
Teaching or experience
Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process), or demonstration to follow along with

Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement

3. VIP Power Pack Contribution
The VIP Power Pack will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:
- Templates
- Workbooks
- Courses (big or small)
- 1-month memberships
- eBooks
Note: I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.
It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged and to your advantage that you participate.
Anyone who does contribute a premium resource will get a 60% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 50%. It’s also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer.
We cannot accept freebies or percentage-off offers.
Information for these resources is due on March 26. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.
Attendees will be able to start claiming your bonus right when registration opens on APRIL 1.
4. Promotion
The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.
Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on April 2.
You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 50% commission that will come from any VIP Power Pack sales (60% if you've contributed a premium bonus to the VIP Power Pack).

5. Live Participation
And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!
All I ask is that you:
- Engage in the live chat while your presentation is live.
- Go live in the online community after your presentation is over and answer questions and engage with participants.
Affiliate Details
I’ve set up an affiliate program for the VIP Power Pack where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by May 1.
The commission structure is as follows:
50% for all speakers
60% for all speakers who include a premium bonus
The pricing structure will be:
$37 for 30 minutes after initial registration
$57 from March 28 - April 16
$97 from April 16 - May 1
To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
